Zenobia Katherine (Kathy) Jordan-Noble passed away, Monday, June 22 at her home in Monticello. She was born March 1, 1953 in Monticello, Arkansas to Lonzella Walton-Lambert and Foster Jordan.
Kathy obtained her elementary education at Drew Elementary in Monticello, Arkansas, and later attended Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Drew High School in Monticello, Arkansas. Following high school she moved to South Carolina to attend college.
Growing homesick she moved back to Monticello and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello where she met Charles Noble whom she married in 1975. Charles enlisted in the Army and this is where Kathy's journeys began. She was a high spirited person who loved to travel and loved to tell about her ventures to France, Germany, Ft. Lewis and Seattle, WA, San Francisco and Oakland, CA, Milwaukee, WI, Louisiana, Hawaii, and the Bahamas.
Kathy was torn between her two homes; Portland, OR and Monticello, AR, she frequented between the two. She graduated from International Air Academy in Vancouver, Washington. After graduation she moved to Seattle, WA where she worked for Horizon Airlines. Kathy later moved back to Portland, Oregon where she decided to try her hands at foster care and made a home for Jermaine and Anthony. They traveled with her on many trips to Arkansas.
Kathy was a faithful servant of the Lord, while in Portland, Oregon she was a member of The House of Prayer where she worshiped under the ministry of Pastor Marcia Taylor. Later she obeyed the gospel and became a member of the church of Christ at Kennedy Boulevard in Monticello, Arkansas where she remained until death.
Kathy loved fashion, styling, and modeling her nice apparel. She didn't need for anyone to tell her how good she looked, she would tell you first. She was a social butterfly; she loved participating in any social events. She was known from Portland to Monticello as an enthusiastic card and domino player.
After retiring in 2014 from SEACAC Head Start she moved back to Portland to spend her final days with her family. As her days neared Kathy traveled back to her final resting place, Monticello, Arkansas where she departed this life on Monday, June 22, 2015.
Kathy was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Earnest and Lucy Mae Haynes, James Walton, Everline and James Jacobs; Father, Foster Jordan; Brother, J.T. Lambert; Aunts, Earnestine Clary, Sarah Haynes-White, Minnie Haynes-Jackson; Uncles, J.D. Haynes and Ernest Haynes, Jr. and a host of other Uncles and Aunts.

  8. Pastor Marcia L. Taylor
    Sister Noble never met a stranger and her whole life seemed to about helping others. She had an inspiring personality and loved to praise the Lord. Her favorite song was "Call Him Up and Tell Him What You Want". She loved her family and always wanted to do what she could for others. She will be greatly missed, but always in our hearts. Surely we lift up the family and friends at this hour of sorrow.

    I met Zenobia when she began working for SEACAC Head Start as I work there as well. We hit it off immediately with her calling me her "Sistah" without even knowing me. And yes...she told everyone in that room that she WAS indeed fashion-conscious! That began our friendship in which we began spending time together that included going to movies and out to eat. I enjoyed her company and her enthusiasm. She was a very supporting friend and I appreciate her attending my daughter's high school graduation with me. I began calling her my best friend to my friends and family. I will miss her dearly.

    The bond between a mother and daughter
    is so strong that even death cannot break it.

    No mother should ever have to walk this
    lonely and painful road.

    The death of my beautiful daughter
    is just too heavy of a load.

    Dear God, please take care of my daughter,
    the one with big eyes, and soft brown curls.
    She was special, as we all know.
    I really didn't want to see her go.

    Mom Lonzella Lambert
  14. Loretta Lambert
    A thousand words won't bring you back;
    I know because I've tried.
    Neither will a thousand tears;
    I know because I've cried.

    Your sister Loretta Lambert

    My Sister I am someone who loves you from the heart,
    It doesn’t matter that sometimes we didn’t agree
    We could never be torn apart.

    As tears stream down my face, I miss you sister with
    all my heart. and this pain is tearing me apart.

    I wish I could hug you and just see your face.
    But now I only have memories which can’t
    be replaced.

    You are gone but not forgotten.
    Know that I will keep you in my heart forever.
    Suffer no more my Sister, Rest in Jesus Arms!

    Your Sister Janice Lambert-Gordon
