W. Marvin "Dub" Spears, age 67 of Cabot, formerly of Monticello, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his home in Cabot. He was born April 14, 1948 in Gravelly, AR to late Tee Bob Spears and Freda Chalk Spears.

He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Ada Spears and Robert and Emma Chalk.

Survivors include his wife Debbie Martin Spears of Cabot; one son, William Spears and wife Stacy of Monticello; two daughters, Rebecca Jarrell and husband Alan and Maria Shirley and husband Audie all of Cabot; one step-son Christopher Kinder of Illinois; one brother, Ricky Spears and wife Tina of Monticello; two sisters, Brenda Head of Monticello and Beverly Lassiter of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren, Holley Spears of Ardmore, OK, Clayton and Jacob Spears of Monticello, Sydney and Lance Jarrell of Cabot, Gavin and Levi Shirley of Cabot; five great-grandchildren and a very special aunt, Ethel Spears.

Funeral Service will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 6 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel in Monticello with burial to follow in Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday night at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
