She was a retired nurse and member of Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Forrest; two brothers, Thomas and Bill Johns; and one sister, Mary Lasiter.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Forrest of Monticello; three sons, Kenny Forrest, Jacob Forrest and Jonas Forrest all of Monticello; two brothers, Carlis Johns of Wilmar and James Johns of Mississippi; four sisters, Dorothy Brown of Monticello, Elizabeth Word of Wilmar, Juanita Hartness of Greenbrier and Sudie Golden of Ashdown; two grandsons, Cash and Jett Forrest; one granddaughter, Kaileigh Forrest; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, July 13 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
