I am so grateful that Ruth and Edward was such wonderful people and was there for my mother when my father died in 1953 and was there for me and my siblings when my mother died in 1958. Ruth grew up on a farm next to my grandparents and she and Edward were wonderful people who cared for friends and their community. I am so sorry for your loss. But rest assured she had many friends from the Wellford Community who was proud to know your mother and father.

Family of Ms Ruth, Ms Ruth was a very classy lady. I got to know her while traveling with the church group to Branson. She was a wonderful Christian. I was so proud to call her friend. When I came home if she was at our church she always wanted me to sing for her. Her favorite song was "Four Days Late". She lived by what God said. "It's God's way Not yours or mine, When He's four days late He's still on time." I sure will miss this lovely lady. Thanks for sharing her with us at First Baptist Kilbourne.

Tommy, JoAnn, Charles, Sue, Nora Dell, and all your families: I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing. She was such a lovely person and a great lady. She and Edward were just such GOOD, salt of the earth people. I will never forget how good they both were to Mother, helping her in so many ways when we were too far away to do so. We are never ready to lose our parents, and I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be there with y'all tomorrow.

Green Hill Community Baptist Church has lost another wonderful lady this year. Ms. Ruth and my grandmother Aneta Pace were such good friends. I'll never forget how my grandmother's face lit up when Ms. Ruth came to help her celebrate her last birthday. I miss them both. I'm glad I got to visit Ms. Ruth before her passing. She was so sweet and always had a smile on her face at church. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now as they say goodbye.
