Steve Lynn Brantley, age 51 of Monticello, passed away, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born December 8, 1963 in Drew County, AR to late Shelby Gene Brantley and Linda Jane McHan Sinclair. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Lynn Massey Brantley and a brother, Bobby Eugene Brantley.

Steve was a general manager for Matthews Butane and member of Cominto Baptist Church. He was also the coordinator for MADD of Drew County and served eighteen years as a firefighter.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Victoria Pertuis Brantley of Monticello; three sons, Matthew Brantley, Jason Brantley and Beau Brantley all of Monticello; four daughters, Tara Massey Estelle and husband Lance of Monticello, Sherri Gail Hammett and husband Ryan of Austin, TX, Jessica Pertuis and Beth Pertuis both of Monticello; his mother, Linda Jane Sinclair and husband Danny of Monticello; two brothers, Lamar Brantley of Malvern and Jeff Brantley of Conway; one sister, Kasey Johnson and husband Steve of El Dorado; and four grandchildren, Hollyn, Hayden, Jayden and Briar.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
