She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was very sentimental and enjoyed having pictures of her loved ones surrounding her in her home. She always made sure to call, just to let you know she was thinking about you and to tell you that she loved and missed you. Our fondest memories will always include the way she made us feel important and loved.
Lupe was the most loving, kind, considerate and unselfish person who always put others before herself. She loved her family with all her heart and we all loved her just as deep. We will never forget that warm smile and the love and comfort we felt with her in our lives. We will carry that love with us forever in our hearts. She will always be a part of us. We miss you mom. We know you are in the arms of our Lord. We love you so very much.
Survivors include her husband, Myles Lea of Hampton; one son, Chris Forrest and wife Hope of Monticello; one daughter, Brenda Forrest of Monticello; one grandson, Preston Forrest of Monticello; two granddaughters, Brittany Hodges and Paysley Forrest both of Monticello; five brothers, Joe Sanchez of Ohio, Don Zamaripas of McGehee, John Zamaripas, Jr. of Texas, Mario Zamaripas of New Hampshire and Albert Zamaripas of Texas; four sisters, Carmen Guareado, Janie Zamaripas and Alleana Duron, all of Texas and Mary Sue Miller of Hot Springs; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 26 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Dickinson Cemetery in Calhoun County. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
