Robbie Clarise Edington, 91, of Monticello, AR, passed on November 27, 2015, at Belle View Estates Rehabilitation and Care Center in Monticello, AR. She was born March 9, 1924, to the late Hubert Everett and Odessa C. Hubbard of Monticello, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood C. Edington; six brothers, Hubert Jr. and Jerry Don Everett, Charles Adam, Jack Roland, Horace Thomas and Roosevelt Scott; one sister, Ardale Rawls; two daughters, Bennie Rose Grasper Green and Benita Edington.

She was employed by Carl Lucky's Dry Cleaning and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Metropolitan AME Church of Monticello, AR.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Arthur Roland of Monticello, AR; six daughters, Beverly Sue Kendricks of Kansas City, MO, Bridgett (Keith) Ziegler of Cincinnati, OH, Bessie Edington of Memphis, TN, Bonnie (Freddie) Griffin and Brookzine Scott, both of Monticello, AR, and Brenda Edington of Conway, AR; three sons, Haywood Edington, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Billy Wilkes of Kansas City, MO, and Bryan (Monique) Edington of Monticello, AR; 42 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com
