She was the widow of Milas Halsey, a homemaker and a member of the Fountain of Life Church in Monticello. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Brantley; and three sisters, Deana Corder, Mary Craddock and Myrtis Thurman.
Survivors include two daughters, Pam Gladden and husband Dennis of Monticello and Cynthia Trusty of Houma, LA; one sister, Kathleen Rawls of Monticello; and six grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Fountain of Life Church with burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
