She was an employee of Burlington Industries for many years, a homemaker and was a member of the Green Hill Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Funderburg and Charlie Marter.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Smith of Oak Grove, LA; one son, David Wilson and wife Regina of Monticello; three step-daughters, Tina Ledford, Karen Rae and Marcy Balkind of Spartanburg, SC; one sister, Nancy Marter of Monticello; two brothers, Donald and James Marter of Monticello; two grandchildren, Kevin Wilson and Samantha Culpepper; nine step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time.
