He was retired from Kroger, an Arkansas National Guard Veteran, and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chelsea LeeAnn Dodson; two brothers, Leon Dodson and Gary Dodson; four sisters, Betty Jean Herring, Mildred Morris, Peggy Thomason and Ruby McBride.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Barnes Dodson of Springdale, AR; two sons, Chance Dodson and wife Katie of Rison and Zachery Dodson of Springdale, AR; one daughter, SaeJen Dodson of Springdale, AR; one stepdaughter, Tabitha Martin-Shinn of Pine Bluff, AR; daughter-in-law, Anne Dodson Studdard of Pine Bluff, AR; four grandchildren, Jakob and Jaxson both of Springdale, Noah and Trippton both of Fordyce; one brother, Waymond Dodson of Warren, AR; three sisters, Shirley Knight of Monticello, AR, Mary Green of Farmington, AR and Diann Douglas of Warren, AR.
Graveside service will be 3:30 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Union Ridge Cemetery. Burial will be with Military Honors. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
