Lavetra Calhoun Reynolds, age 84 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016 at The Woods of Monticello Health & Rehabilitation. She was born October 10, 1931 in Drew County, AR to the late Durwood Calhoun and Omie McGee Calhoun.

She was the widow of Billy J. Reynolds, a 1950 graduate of Drew Central High School and was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Reynolds worked with her parents on the family farm raising cows, tomatoes, and chickens and also worked with the family at the Calhoun Grocery store at Plantersville.

She is survived by her Aunt Helen Durham of Miami, Oklahoma; along with many cousins, and host of friends.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
