Dr Pearson just came to my mind tonight, so I googled his name to see what he was up to these days. Sadly, I see he just recently passed away. He was a fantastic chemistry teacher. I've been teaching high school chemistry for years and I have always tried to follow his example. I was his lab assistant one year and I took chemistry 1 and 2 with him. Peace be with his family.

Ron and Debra, I was so saddened to hear about the death of your parents. They were fine people who I was proud to have as Bowser RD neighbors. Last fall your father had me come down, climb a shaky stepladder, and harvest no telling how many pounds of persimmons from his beloved orchard. May they rest in peace and may you be comforted by many special memories.

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Dr. and Mrs. Pearson. Not only were they both my professors but I worked with Dr. Pearson at UAM. Prayers for the family.

Dr. Pearson was a wonderful Chemistry professor. He was my first Chemistry instructor. Everything about the subject seemed exciting to him and it showed on his face. His patience with each student was a gift. It is a privilege to have been a student of Dr. Pearson's. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

    Deepest Sympathy,
    Michelle Davis

The Pearsons were fine people! My daughter worked at the UAM Post Office for several years. They were very sweet to her, bringing her things which they grew in their garden. They would also sometime bring her homemade goodies, especially at Christmas time. The family has my sincere sympathy at this terribly difficult time!
