Ms. Bea was my art teacher in the late 70's, I was not an art major but went on to become an art teacher too! For 26 years! I think of her often while I'm teaching my students!! My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of loss!!
  6. Kay Worbington
My sincere sympathy is extended to the Pearson family at this sad time. They were what we call 'good people'. They went our of their way to be kind to others.
  7. Greg Laughlin
For those of us that were art majors at UAM, Ms Pearson will be truly missed. We often told everyone we were graduates from the Bea Pearson School of Art, because for years she was the only art instructor at UAM . Over the years there is no telling how many of her students entered art education in southeast Arkansas and elsewhere. My prayers go out to the Pearson family during this time of mourning.
