Mr. Robin was such a great man! My family grew up in the same church! A few years back I was speeding a little bit and he made me pull over. He came to the window and ask me what is your hurry? I said I picked up dinner and it was smelling so good, he laughed & told me to slow down. He also invited me to church. What a great man and friend! I'm very sorry to the entire hood family! Mrs. Lynda & family: Our hearts are heavy today with this passing of Robin. I've had the honor of knowing this man my entire life as he was a long-time friend of my grandfathers before he passed away and he continued to be a wonderful friend to my grandmother and our entire family. A great man of strength, courage, and faith; which he wasn't afraid to share. Heaven has gained an angel, but we have lost a true friend. Angie and I are lifting you all up in prayer today, and the days and weeks ahead. We love you all!
  30. Don Sloat
I join with so many others who knew Robin in offering my deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing, you can celebrate the end of a productive life.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.

May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew him.

    In Sympathy,

    Don and Cecilia Sloat (PGR)

I will never forget singing Amazing Grace in Cherokee to him after a fatal crash on Highway 165 in Jerome. A man who knew music and could sing like he does. He made me feel so good because he liked the song. He was always making everyone around him feel the power of God. he will be missed so very much by all. Prayers are with you , Lynda, and family.

To all of Robin's family I want to express my sincere sympathy. Robin meant a lot to my family and I've known him since I was very young. My late parents, Rev. & Mrs. Wayne Hoppers, thought the world of Robin. Robin gave my parents an escort when they passed away to their final resting place. I'll never forget seeing him standing outside his patrol car as my family headed to bury our parents. That act made my heart sing on such a sad day. He was a great man. Rest in Peace, Robin.
