She was the widow of Charles Dean Rea, a caregiver at the Guesthouse and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Proffitt.
Survivors include one son, Charles Brandon Rea of Monticello; two daughters, Denise Hoover of Monticello and Leigh Anne Jollie of Tacoma, WA; one brother, Bill Proffitt; five grandchildren, Lacey Rea, Mattie Jollie, Gracie Booker, Emma Jollie and Caden Rea; and two very close and dear friends, Casey and Renee Keeling.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Steve Fleming officiating. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
