Mr. Sullivan retired from Burlington Industries Maintenance Department and was also a retired logger. He was United States Army veteran and member of the Rock Springs United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two wives, Pauline "Polly" Klick Sullivan and Dorothy Drake Sullivan; his step mother, Mamie Overton Sullivan; one son, William Floyd "Bill" Sullivan; one grandson, Tim Frasure; and two brothers, Elroy Sullivan and Marshall Sullivan, Sr.
Survivors include one son, Douglas Sullivan, Jr.; three daughters, Teresa Carole Frasure and husband Wayne; Karen Webb and husband Gene; and Paula Sullivan all of Rock Springs; two stepsons, Troy Tucker and wife Tina and Bruce Tucker and wife Brandy all of Star City; one brother, Gene Sullivan of Rock Springs; one sister, Darlene Brown of Atlanta, GA; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11:00 at Rock Springs United Methodist Church by Rev. Tom Abney and Rev. Hardy Peacock. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com
