He was a retired forklift operator for Arcelor Mittal having retired in 2014, a member of Enon Baptist Church and a volunteer for several fire departments. He loved crawfish boils and cooking gumbo with his family, but his greatest love was his family especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Jim Miller and wife Jennifer of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Jennifer Armstrong and fiancé Jay O'Fallon of Sheridan; one sister, Joyce Jones and husband Bill of Monticello; his grandchildren, John & Katie Armstrong of Sheridan, Collin Garcia of Sheridan, Zac Miller of Pine Bluff, Blaine Miller of Star City, Nikki Mullikin of Pine Bluff and Autumn & Austin O'Fallon of Sheridan; and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Zan Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery in Drew County.
