She was the widow of Richard Palmer, Sr., a retired nurse from the Human Development Center in Warren and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond Dale Palmer; and one great-granddaughter, Angel Delaney Stringfellow.
Survivors include one son, Richard Palmer, Jr. and wife, Karin of Warren; one sister, Peggy Fielding and husband Alton of Gallatin, TN; a sister-in-law, Wanda Strickland of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Angela Childs of Ogden, UT and Richard Palmer, III and wife Vensha of Hurley, MS; four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev .Ed Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Drew County.
