She confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmar, AR. She attended Wilmar and Warren Public Schools. She became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for over 22 years for the Department of Home Health in Monticello, Arkansas until medical issues occurred.
She was such an amazing person who never met a stranger and was always willing to help others. She had a huge heart that was filled with so much love. If anyone ever met Momma Dean, they would say the same.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Crosby, Sr. and Bettie Gean Chavis; mother-in-law, Robbie Lynn Fisher and father-in-law, Rastus Lee Miller.
She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Eddie Lee Miller of Wilmar, AR; three daughters, LaSaundra Broughton of Monticello, AR, Tiffany Chavis and Anita (Marcus) Jacobs of Wilmar, AR; seven sisters, Juanita Daniels, Cheryl Gardner of Wilmar, AR, Jerrilyn Crosby of Conway, AR, Yolanda Crosby of Warren, AR, Martha (Michael) Gray, Helen Darrough of Little Rock, AR, Mary Moore of Jacksonville, AR; four brothers, Patrick Chavis of Wilmar, AR, Earnest (Gwendolyn) Ross of Lake Village, AR, George (Darlene) Crosby , Jr. of Memphis, TN, Phil Nelson of TX; stepmother, Mildred Crosby of Warren, AR; stepparents Pierce (Helen) Sanders, stepbrother, Corey (Kimberly) Sanders of Wilmar, AR; two god sisters, Christell O'Neal of Little Rock, AR, Gloria Brown of Monticello, AR; four grandchildren, Zy'Tavious Chavis, DarVeon Rayford, Tyviance Wormley, Zaiden Miller, whom she loved like her own; Nanny's Babies, I'Darious Chavis, Amir Chavis, Jamarious Chavis, Zantavious Chavis, Halley Childs, Mariah Chavis, Aniah Chavis, Cason Chavis, and Ta'Ja Miller, and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
