She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Tony Herring of Monticello; one son, Dr. Jason Herring and wife Deanne of Milo; one daughter, Ashley Herring Cruce of Monticello; four grandchildren, Kendall Herring, Stratton Herring, Grayson Herring, all of Milo and Jake Cruce of Monticello; her mother, Jewell Jordan Gladden Hargis of Monticello; three brothers, Gerald Gladden and wife Gay, Billy Gladden and wife Jody and Dennis Gladden and wife Pam, all of Monticello; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David Jacks officiating. Burial will follow in Wilmar Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
