She was the widow of James Ray Boatwright, sold Avon, worked at Ben Pearson Company and was a Baptist. She was mostly a housewife/mother and loved playing bingo. She loved people and was a kind and loyal friend, was very jolly and loved making other people laugh. She was the daughter of the late Robert Pearson Peacock and Agnes Imogene Abernathy Peacock and was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Gerald Peacock.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Joe Stanton of South California; one daughter, Shirley Ann Simpson of Monticello; two brothers, Bobby Joe Peacock of South California and Virgil Clark Peacock of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Alvern Lareda Peacock and Evelyn I. Gatewood, both of South California; three granddaughters, Tamara Ernest, Timber and Jamie Raylynn Simpson.
