Syble Wright Vinson, age 85 of Rye, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at her home. She was born October 7, 1932 in Jefferson County, AR to the late Clyde Wright and Mary Esker Adair Wright.

She was the widow of Joy (J.D.) Vinson, retired from Burlington Industries and was a very faithful member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church at Rye, where she served as their pianist for sixty plus years. She also loved watching her grandchildren play sports. Syble was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was very devoted to her family and church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Jones; a granddaughter, Becky Vinson; three brothers, W. C. Wright, Richard Wright and Carlton H. Wright; and one sister, Virginia Wright Sullivan.

Survivors include three sons, Mark Vinson and wife Vickie and Jeremy Vinson and wife Angila all of Rye and Kenneth West and wife Barbara of Sheridan; one daughter, Mary Lydia Jones and husband Everett of Monticello; two brothers, Damon Wright and Jerry Adair and wife Judy both of Rye; nine grandchildren, Brad Jones and wife Amy, Tammie Penland and husband Adam, Amber Middleton and husband D. J., Vincent Vinson, Vannessa Vinson, Paige Blackstock, Carter Vinson, Kenny West and Shane West; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family, Carol and I did not know till Carol read it in the CC Hearld. My prayers are with y’all, she will be missed, but wait till we all get to heaven.
I can still remember those Bible School songs, and her playing her heart out, while Mr. Floyd Dale led singing.

Knowing you will be there waiting for us one day. We will miss you just knowing you no longer sit at the piano at Enon as you did for so many years. Those of us that were blessed to know you and spend time with you are truly thankful and saddened. I bet your entrance into Heaven was filled with singing and shouting joined by Virginia. Forever in our hearts.
Thanks for your love and so many good memories.

Greatest christian that every walked this earth- she lived and breathed her ministry and it is evident in all that ever came in contact with her as she left us all to be better people. Knowing now that she and her beloved sister are reuniting and singing- with my Grandpa and Uncle Joy all asleep on the couch tired of hearing them sing already! Heaven gained a first lady!
With much love to all the family,
    Tom and Kathy (Sullivan) Spirito

Remembering your family in prayer during this difficult time. Mrs. Sybil was a very sweet Lady. Just remember we haven't lost her, we know where she is. God's Word tells His children that to be absent from the body, is to be present with The Lord. Her faith is now sight, as she rests in Heaven with Christ The Lord.
