She was preceded in death by her son, Markus Burel; brothers, Wilford Vincent Junior and Rev. Alphonzo Vincent; and sister, Annette Smith.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Pleasant AME Church. She moved her membership to Scope Ministries Christian Fellowship Church where she served faithfully unless sickness prevented her attendance. She was a retired Juvenile Detention Supervisor at Pulaski County.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters; Beverly Burel-Nash (Johnny) and Christy Burel-Ellis (Ryan Johnson), both of Little Rock, AR; three sons, Henry Railey (Exzeria) of Fresno, CA, Joe Vincent (Angie Johnson) and Michael Burel (Michelle), both of Little Rock, AR; three sisters, Sherry Paulette Squalls of Dallas, TX, Cloverne Hudson (Bill) of Macon, GA, and Sandra Spencer (Roger) of Wilmar, AR; three brothers, Jesse Vincent (Priscilla) of Warren, AR, Jerry Vincent (Linda) and Glynn Vincent (Julia), both of Monticello, AR; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and many special friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. church with burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
