He was a retired supervisor for CHEVRON Oil Company, a World War II veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Porter White; and a daughter, Connie Carter.
Survivors include one son, Jerry White and wife Tish of McGehee; one daughter, Barbara Morgan and husband Bob of Monticello; one brother, Leonard White and wife Sherry of Durango, CO; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
