He was a retired house parent at the Arkansas Baptist Home in Monticello, a United States Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Second Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Morrison; and two brothers, Virgil Morrison and Claude Morrison.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Virginia Lamb Morrison of Monticello; children, Troy Adam Morrison and wife Lauren of North Little Rock, Rebecca Epperson and husband Mark of North Little Rock and Breeanna Hayden and husband Brady of Monticello and David Cox; a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Morrison of MS; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Christina, Daniel, Avery, Ethan, Grace, Dixie and Wyatt; two great-grandchildren, Cashton and Charleigh; and two sisters Wanda and Mary Lee.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
