She was the widow of Raymond Ray, a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church of Monticello. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Aubrey Bailey, her daughter, Lana Ray Hoover, one brother, Edward Parker, two sisters, Marie Lovett and Terri Bondy.
Survivors include one son, Roger Ray and wife Julie of Harrison; six grandchildren, Lisa Hoover Rice and husband Jay of Pueblo, CO, Ray Hoover of Colorado Springs, CO, Phillip Ray and wife Tracey of Bryant, Dale Ray of Searcy, Jennifer Marino and husband Ricardo of Jonesboro and Sara Sparks and husband Bryan of McGehee, MS; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.

Of all the grandchildren of William and Dora Parker, I felt that you and Edward had the most adversity during all our "growing up" years in Dermott during the 30s-40s.
