Bobby retired from the post office where he worked for 35 years. He was a loving husband, daddy and "Pop". He loved raising cows, working on his farm and traveling some, but his true love was being on his farm. He was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He was also Mason and member of the Drew County Cattlemen's Association. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Margarett Lemons Bodiford.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Katie Jeffers Lemons of Florence; two daughters, Jeanie Lemons Jones and husband Scott of Dumas and Jana Lemons Anthony and husband Lee of Florence; one grandson, Douglas Blankenship and wife Jean of Dumas; one granddaughter, Katelyn Blankenship (Josh Lawson) of Florence; one sister, Sandra Lemons Wright and husband Gerald of Florence; three nephews, Alan Wright and wife Kayce of Magnolia, TX; Adam Wright and wife Stephanie of Monticello and Roger Bodiford and wife Lana of Hot Springs; several great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends, and his loving pet dog, Sheldon.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Florence Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Florence Baptist Church c/o Sandra Wright, 2847 Florence Road, Monticello, AR 71655. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
