She retired after 30 years of service with the Drew County Health Department, starting out in the old Drew Hospital and was a member of Second Baptist Church. The joy of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved dearly and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Leonard Johnson of Monticello; one son, Jeromy Johnson and wife Sommer of Warren; one daughter, Kaylen Jo Johnson Schumacher of Little Rock; two brothers, Randel Smith of Monticello and Ricky Gene Smith of Hampton; one sister, Jamie Waterfield of Hermitage; six grandchildren, Kyla, Ember, Haven, Isaiah, Cash and Ariana; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Ladelle Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
