Dironda Faye Moore, age 97 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at McGehee-Desha Hospital. She was born December 19, 1921 in Marked Tree, AR to the late Earnest Turnbow and Fannie Roy Turnbow.

She was the widow of R.B. Moore, co-owner and secretary for R. B. Moore Construction Company for many years and was a member of Prairie Grove Baptist Church. She was a Avon sales representative for over 25 years and was also an Eastern Star member. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Buddy Turnbow; and two sisters, Melba Burnett and Dorothy Faulkner.

Survivors include one daughter, Jo Ann May King of Monticello; one brother, J. D. Turnbow of Beaumont, TX; one sister, Margie Whitmire of Fort Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Lisa Lloyd and Renee Harris both of Monticello, Karen Clowers of McGehee and Scott Durham of Lake Village; seven great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2019 at Lone Sassafras Cemetery in Drew County. Visitation 11:00-1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
