Though Clint had a rough go at life following the war, he never gave up on his marriage or his God. Clint loved the Lord Jesus with every breath he took and he resides with Him today in the glory of heaven, alongside his wife of 36 years, Jodie. Clint is survived by his children, Missy Olson and Stacy Self; his grandson, Addison Olson; his granddaughter, Victoria Self; his sister, Hilda and her family; his brother Maxi and his family; his uncle and aunt, Bobby and Linda Bounds; and his very special friend Kim Reed. Preceding him in the light are his biological mother, Mary Richard; his adoptive mother, Vivian Viola; and his father, Emmett Self.
Clint will be buried with full honors at the Willamette National Cemetery in Oregon. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com

Monticello, AR Tuesday, September 10, 2019 Clint, It’s going to be hard to say goodbye after fifteen years of friendship but, it’s something we have to do. I’m going to miss you terribly. And before you left you told Andy to tell me that you loved me...like we always said to each other. I love you too, and I wish you could come back so I could tell you in person. But as long as you’re not hurting anymore, in Heaven, and at peace, that’s good enough for us. RIP, and love , Clint...bye for now.Rebecca Krllner
