He was a retired painter and welder and was of the Baptist faith. Burt's hobbies were raising rabbits, fishing and gardening. He was loved by many and had a very loving personality and would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto W. Mueller and Effie Braden Mueller; and two cousins, Michael L. Forrest and Patty Lynn Forrest.
Survivors include his aunt, Pat Forrest of Monticello; a nephew, Michael Shawn Forrest and wife Christy of Monticello; great nephew, Nicholas Graham and family of Liberty, TX; and many dear friends and extended family.
