He was a retired operator in the powerhouse for Clearwater Paper Corporation with 34 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Bowden of Vidalia, LA.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years Joan Williams Bowden of Monticello; three daughters Randi Dodson of Monticello, Monica Tippett (Larry) of Jonesboro, AR, and Marla Wells (Peewee) of Monticello; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April, 4 2020 at Oakland Cemetery, in Monticello, AR. Online guestbook can be signed at www.stephensondearman.com.
