Reading Rae’s obituary saddened me as I remembered her joy of life and what a tireless worker she was in Business and Professional Women a number of years ago. Rae had a ready smile for everyone, especially her family she loved very much. She was a good friend and I was blessed to have known her.

    Dear Rickie and Randy,

Steve and I are so sorry to you for the loss of your mom . But, Aunt Rae certainly was so very, very lucky to have you both. You loved and cared for her so much. And, weren't we lucky to have her. As for me, I never heard her say a word that was not pleasant and thoughtful. I always remember her as being so gentle and kind. She never had an agenda, but always had a smile. You do not find that many people who are that way today---she was always thinking of others and infallibly genuine and sweet. I know my daddy, Raymond, always said his sister was such a genuine person.

I know she will be sorely missed by all and we do pray for you and offer lots of light and love!

My dearest family, We have lost the sweetest spirit of us all . Some 60 plus years ago , she graciously welcomed me to her home and introduced me to her baby son and husband. She was smiling , and warm and friendly...I cannot ever remember her treating me with anything but love and a caring attitude.. The last trip I ever made with my mom and Dad was to visit her. And sure enough, she had made a 🍰 cake for us..Always the gracious Christian lady..She will be missed by the whole family. Especially ,me.

Rae was one of my favorite people. We hung out together when we were younger and both single. I know she was a good Mother, hard worker and caring person. When she enters Heaven, The Good Lord will say, Welcome my good and faithful servant. It is hard to be left as one and sometimes one of few left, especially when you had lots of siblings.
