She was a retired self-employed hair dresser in the late 60s and early 70s. She went on to work for and retire from Burlington Industries in Monticello, AR. Sherry loved being around people and service others. Most of the Monticello community will remember from her part-time job at Piggy Sues. Sherry also enjoyed gardening, fishing, feeding her birds and squirrels, but most of all, spoiling her grandkids. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Lloyd Gravenmier of Milan, TN, her grandmother, Georgia Lloyd of Monticello, AR, and her husband, Donald "Buddy" Guinn of Monticello, AR.
Sherry is survived by two sons, Ron Smith and wife Sherri of Cave Springs, Stephen Guinn and wife Kelly of Monticello, AR, two daughters, Debbe Smith Watson and husband Stephen of Beaumont, TX and Lisa Smith Swain and husband Danny of Monticello, eight grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
