David was retired from Monticello Public Schools where he worked in the Maintenance Department, a retired firefighter and was a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, flying model airplanes and playing the drums. He was also a great cook and loved to barbeque.
David is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tony Lynn English and Bobby Lynn English.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Renee Warren English; one son, Samuel Earl English; one daughter, Bailey Elizabeth English all of Monticello; one nephew, Jessie Lynn English and wife Catlin; and one niece, Brooke Ann Wagner and husband Mike.
Funeral services will be 10:45 a.m. Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David Jacks officiating. The service will be live streamed via Facebook @ Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, as well as services in the church with social distancing being practiced.
