She was the widow of Lane Carl Brown. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by, a brother, Norrell Thompson and a sister, Bobbie Bass.
Norris is survived by two sons, Kelvan Brown and wife Kara Morgan, and Carl D. Brown, both of Fountain Hill; two daughters, Paula Marie Engelkes and husband Mark, of Monticello and Norma Windham, of Fountain Hill; four grandchildren, Crystal Amos, Ashley McGee, Justin Petty, and Elizabeth Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Brody and Blakley Smith, and Skylar Hill.
