Bruce attended Monticello High School where he played football and was a member of the Rodeo Club. He graduated from Monticello High School in 1976 and attended Three Rivers Vocational School, now a part of UAM, where he received his welding certificate. His career as a welder started with the construction of Nuclear I in Russellville, AR and Grand Gulf in Louisiana. He was retired from Local 155 - Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. His work took him all over the United States, where he made many lifelong friends. Telling stories was his specialty!
Bruce was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and crappie fishing, but he always made time for his Lord. Throughout his life he was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and brother.

Crossett, AR Wednesday, June 3, 2020 Tammy, Cecile and families,George and I are so sorry for your loss.
Bruce has been a good friend for many years through school and then the two of us graduating together with the Monticello Class of 1976. Bruce and I reconnected when George and I married. George and Bruce were good friends, had rodeoed together and stayed a close group of guys from “their younger days” who are always still there for the others.
Bruce was one of the good ones. Always a friend with a smile and kind words. He will be greatly missed and we will be praying for his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.
We will see you again. Until then rest peacefully,
George and Tommie

Newport, AR Saturday, May 30, 2020 I know this is a time of sorrow, a time unexpected. Bruce was a great man! He worked hard, played hard and loved life to the fullest. He had a way of making you laugh, smile, and give his friendship to you, which meant so much to us. I wish we could do or say anything to offer a moment of comfort, but we can only know that the only real comfort is from God... and Bruce knew that too. This season is one we want to just love on you, talk if you want or jus be there for you..!!!We love you... we are praying for you and the kids!
