Joye Ann Martin, age 78 of Wilmar, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 of injuries from an automobile accident. She was born August 27, 1941 in Bradley County, AR to the late Ruby Fletcher Rayford and George Coleman.

She was the widow of Charles L. Martin, and had been employed at Burlington Industries in Monticello, Jack Winter and LaDonnas in Warren, later she was employed by the Human Development Center in Warren and her recent employment was with Advantages Health Care of Monticello. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Wilmar. She attended school at Wilmar and later received her GED. As a young girl, she inherited a love for fishing from her grandmother, Roberta Fletcher, and when she married Charles, she gained a fishing buddy and coud "out fish" the best of them. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Marquis Martin, step sons, Mark and Charles Martin, Jr. and a stepdaughter, Belinda Davis.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, two sons, Hebert Rayford of Little Rock and Rod Guy (Tonya) of Wilmar; three daughters, Daphna Wilkins (Louis), Marilyn Reed (U.S.) of Little Rock and Viola Edwards (Ulysses) of Monticello; four stepsons, Temaus Wade (Michelle), Willie, Greg, and Anthony Martin of Warren; four brothers, Larry Rayford (Patricia) of Monticello, Donnie Rayford of Wilmar, Gregory Rayford (Linda) of Huntsville, AL and Bobby Coleman (Joyce) of Sherwood; one sister, Mary Harris (David "DC") of Little Rock; ten grandchildren, Tonya, Elmore, Chelsea, Jillian, Kaitlin, LaKisha, Alex, Toni, Amber, and Joshua; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Wilmar cemetery. Visitation following COVID-19 guidelines will be 6:00-7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
