She was the widow of Carnot "Mac" McDonald, a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith. Lucy and her husband, Carnot "Mac" McDonald lived in various cities due to work but felt most at home with their large family and relatives in Memphis and with their wide circle of friends in Atlanta, GA. She loved telling and entertaining story or reading a good book and was a positively remarkable influence on many lives. We were all blessed and greatly all blessed and greatly enriched by her life.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Dale McDonald and Glenn McDonald, two sisters, Billye Jean Kolb and Dottie Kuehnert and son-in-law, Jerry Barber.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda L. McDonald Barber of Monticello and Dotty (Mike) Coulson of Collierville, TN; four grandchildren, Justin Coulson, Brooke (Ryan) Ledbetter, Drew (Shannon) Coulson and Lauren Coulson; nine great-grandchildren, Sierra, Fulton and Luken Ledbetter, Brooklyn, Sophia and Ashton Coulson, Sean, Austin and Eva Coulson.
