He was an electrical engineer for Allen Bradley and was a Seventh Day Adventist. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Schooley Mhoon.
Survivors include one son, William Phai Mhoon of Little Rock; his father and step-mother, Bill and Marilyn Mhoon of Monticello; one brother, Robert Mhoon of Little Rock; two sisters, Faye Mhoon of Chatsworth, GA and Kaye Whitener of Nashville, TN.
