He was a retired welder and pipefitter, WW II U. S. Army veteran and was a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church. He was the son of the late Marion Frank Province, Sr. and Mary Emma Chavis Province.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Sanders of Lebanon, MO and Johnny Slaughter of Monticello; one daughter, Sherry G. Lednicky of Stoutland, MO; four grandchildren, Drew and Taylor Sanders and Kerry and David White; one great grandchild and six step-great grandchildren.
