At an early age he confessed his hope in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Warren, AR.
Jason received his formal education in the Warren School District. He graduated from Warren High School in 1998. After graduating from high school, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jason's strong will to succeed motivated him in every facet of his life. His approach to reaching his goals landed him as one of the youngest top car salesman at United Nissan Car Dealership in Henderson, Nevada.
Jason was a fun, loving, and free spirited person that everyone loved. Jason had a big heart and loved helping others and his presence was always known. Jason was full of life, ambitious, and very humorous.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen La June Hammock.
Jason is survived by three sons, Jaiden Byes, Christian Byes, and Rebel Byes all of Las Vegas, NV; his parents, Timmy and Denisa Hammock of Warren, AR and Carolyn and Patrick Golden of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers Anthony (Shanda) Byes of Fort Smith, AR, Cedric Calbert and Desmond Calhoun of Warren, AR; four sisters, Zaneta Byes of Las Vegas, NV, Nicole Lawrence of Pine Hill, NJ, Kimberly Wiley of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jill Harris-Calbert of Warren, AR; two step-sisters, Le Shedda Riley of Arlington, TX, and Jasmine of Arkansas; two step-brothers, Monvanda and Jacairo of Arkansas; Grandparents, John W. Hammock of Wilmar, AR, Buster and Mollie Thomas of Las Vegas, NV, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend Laura Karolyi of Las Vegas, NV.
