He was a retired state auditor, worked part time for Monticello Police Dept. and Drew County Sheriffs Dept. and was of the Assembly of God faith. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Alma Loewe.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Holdford Wigley of Monticello; one daughter, Maxann Leigh Wigley Mizell and husband, Clinton of Monticello; one brother, Oscar Wigley and wife, Sharon of Monticello; three grandchildren, Lawton Alan Wigley Smith, Kelby Rae Smith and Karter Marie Smith of Monticello; two nieces, Leah and Maxine Wigley and a host of cousins, family and friends.
