Richard "Dickie" Tamminen, age 45, of Lacey, passed away July 12, 2013 at UAMS after losing his battle with cancer.

He was an electrician with various construction companies across the United States, an avid hunter and loved to fish.

He is survived by his parents, Jessie and Sue Martin of Lacey; his fiancé, Missy Hamilton and her children, Victoria and Michael of Lacey; one brother, Kevin Martin and wife, Trenia of Lacey; six sisters, Sue Estelle and husband, Robert of Lacey, Michelle Howell and husband, Wade of Jefferson, Shelia Rochelle and husband, Tim of Haskell, Suzette Phillips and husband, Ronnie of Lacey, Tracy Ransom of Victoria, TX and Tammy Tamminen of Tomball, TX; three step-children, Lucas Cotton and Stephanie Cotton of Sheridan and Megan Moyer of Portland; and a host of nieces and nephews.
