I will sure miss Mr. Bob, I can always remember seeing him at the nursing home when I was still working there. He loved my little girl Hannah just like his own grandchild and loved me too like his own. He would always have something to give Hannah when she came to visit him while I was at work. He was a wonderful man and loved by many.

My husband and I first knew Mr. Bob as a UAM campus security officer when we were in college. He was very well liked by staff and students. We had the honor of moving back to Monticello and attending Enon Baptist church where we got to know him as family. He was a wonderful man and we sincerely loved him. We will miss him!!

To the family of Mr. Bob Fenton, I would like to express my sincere sympathy for the death of this fine gentleman. I was fortunate to have known Mr. Fenton when he worked for campus security at UAM. Many times he would pick up my car on campus, take it home to work on it, and deliver it back to me. May God be with you at the time of sorrow. May Mr. Fenton rest in peace.

We are very sorry for your loss. Mr. Fenton was such a nice Christian man. When I taught the youth at Enon Baptist Church and was also the youth 4-H leader, Mr. Fenton was always willing to help the teenagers in any way that he could. He always pulled our fair floats and hay ride wagons. He will be missed.

Bob and I were first cousins, but like brothers. The scar under his nose, above his lip was caused by my careless swing of a golf club we found on the golf course near our grandparents home back in 1947 or 1948. Bob and I always talked about that scar; because we were told by our grandmother, Mama Shrader, to not go to that golf course. She gave both of us a spanking with a Ping-Pong paddle for disobeying her.
