He retired from Burlington in 1995 where he worked for 32 years. He was the son of the late Robert King and Annie Bell Oglesby. He was preceded in death by his lovely son, Larry King, three brothers, James Walker, Anderson Oglesby, Dennis Oglesby and two sisters, Pearl King and Dorothy West.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise King of Monticello; five sons, Julious Lee King, Jr., Donnie King, Sr., Kelvin Ray King, John Paul King, Sr., Dale Roy King, Sr. all of Monticello; two daughters, Rosie Mary Beniningfield of North Little Rock, Gwendolyn Diane Collins of Little Rock.
