A 1971 graduate of Pine Bluff High School, Barbara loved family, gardening, and fishing. She was united in holy matrimony to Larry H. Reese on May 26, 1976. Larry and Barbara worked side by side for many years running Breaker Drive In.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Dean and sister, Georgia Ann Walker.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Larry H. Reese of Monticello; her mother, Semolia Dean of Pine Bluff; her children, Stanley Reese (Stacey), Little Rock, Michiko Reavley, Memphis, TN, Larry H. Reese, JR., Alexandria, VA and Kamala L. Steele (Terrence), Alexander, AR; eight grandchildren; Tyree Reese, Chris Reese, Iresha Wells, Camron Reese, Tamia Steele, Serena Reese, Ethan Steele, and Jaelyn Reese; two brothers, James E. Dean and Michael L. Dean (Connie), of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Joyce J. Dean, Knoxville, TN and Sara A. Austin, of Pine Bluff, three uncles, Al and Victor Goodwin, of California and Felton King of Little Rock; one special sister, Betty Reese-Luster (Edward), of Bartlett, TN; Four brothers-in-law, James M. Reese, Lexington, TN, Charles Reese (Beverly), Atlanta, GA, Malcolm Reese (Janice), Dumfries, VA and Herman Reese, of Little Rock; as well as a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives who will mourn her passing.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am 1:00 pm prior to the service. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
