She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Don Etheridge and one nephew, Alex Hawkins.
She is survived by four sisters; Ann Leonard of Conway AT, Yvonne Simpson of Monticello, Wendy Boyd of San Angelo, TX, and Julia Mc Coy of Monticello, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
