She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Brannon; a son, Michael Brannon; five brothers, Amos Sledge, Earl Sledge, Gube Sledge, Hebert Sledge, James Sledge; and a sister, Leona Stevenson.
Mrs. Brannon was retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Enon Baptist Church in Monticello. She loved quilting, gardening, arts and crafts and most of all listening to music.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Flory and husband Mike of Salina, KS; her son, Roger Brannon and wife Brenda of Monticello; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Brannon of Dermott; six grandchildren, Mark Brannon, Andy Brannon, Valerie Head, Molly Miller, Stacey Davis and Kristi Rainwater; fourteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel in Monticello. Burial will be in the Brannon Family Cemetery in Damascus, AR. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Online guest book at www.stephensondearman.com.

Growing up in the Enon community I had the privilege of knowing the Brannon family and spending Sunday afternoons at their home after church. Mrs Brannon was always so patient with us silly girls and let us play play play. As we grew older she let Phyllis drive up and down their long driveway in the car.
