Shirley Dodson Knight
February 18, 1940 - August 15, 2018

Shirley Dodson Knight, age 78 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at her home. She was born February 19, 1940 to the late William Boyd Dodson and Viola Sanson.

She was retired from Burlington Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Knight; a daughter, Pamela Ann Knight; four sisters, Ruby, Betty, Mildred, and Peggy; and three brothers, Leon, Gary and Walter.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Robinson and Kathy Wilson both of Monticello; four grandchildren, Ashley McDouglad, Krisi Balentine, Shirley Amber Woodruff, Wade Allen "Bud" Woodruff; five great-grandchildren, Alex McCone, Megan Grider, Jaden Grider, Tyekishasa Hindux, La'derin Fuller, Keith Ridgell, Jr., Lala Gaberial Woodruff, Jay Marauge;one brother, Waymond Dodson of Warren; and two sisters, Kathy Diann Dodson and Mary Elizabeth Dodson both of Fayetteville.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
